Enterprise Linux and platform engineering
The foundation everything else runs on: building, securing and integrating enterprise Linux systems, and keeping them available when a node fails.

Linux Professional Institute
LPIC-1, LPIC-2 and the LPIC-3 specialisms in Security, Virtualization and Containerization, Mixed Environment and High Availability, plus LPI DevOps Tools Engineer. TecFlax is an LPI Approved Training Partner for the Africa region.
Red Hat
Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, and the Red Hat Certified Specialist in High Availability Clustering.
SUSE
The widest track we teach: SCA and SCE for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Multi-Linux Manager, Rancher Prime and RKE, NeuVector container security, Longhorn storage, SUSE Edge, SUSE AI, SUSE Observability and SLES for SAP Applications.
Kubernetes
Certified Kubernetes Administrator, the timed practical exam against a live cluster, plus the Rancher and RKE tracks that sit on top of it.
Amazon Web Services
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Security Specialty, Data Engineer Associate, Machine Learning Engineer Associate and AI Practitioner.
Microsoft Azure
Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Database Administrator and Azure AI Engineer Associate.
Google Cloud
Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, and Google AI Essentials for non-technical staff.
Oracle and MySQL
MySQL Enterprise Implementation Associate, Oracle Certified Associate and Oracle Certified Professional. TecFlax is an Oracle Certified MySQL Enterprise Database Implementation Specialist Partner in the Africa region.

Datadog Fundamentals, and Datadog APM and Distributed Tracing Fundamentals.

Certified Zimbra System Administrator. Zimbra is our deepest specialism and our team includes a Zimbra Certified Instructor and a Zimbra Certified System Administrator.
How the training runs
Courses run at our Nairobi premises, at your own site anywhere we can reach, or remotely. Most tracks are taught as a scheduled block; longer ladders are usually better split into stages with real work between them, so what was taught gets used before the next module.
Class size, pacing and the balance of lab time to theory are agreed before scheduling, because a team of five senior engineers and a cohort of thirty graduates do not need the same course. Every track is hands-on: the performance-based certifications on this page cannot be passed from slides.
Training prepares candidates for the certification exam, which is sat with the awarding body itself. TecFlax is an LPI Approved Training Partner for the Africa region and is registered with NITA to deliver industrial training.
Taught by the engineers who run these systems
Most ICT training is delivered by people who teach for a living. Ours is delivered by the engineers who implement, secure and support these platforms for clients the rest of the week, which changes what a course can cover. When someone asks what happens when a cluster loses quorum at 2am, the answer comes from having been there.
TecFlax Solutions Limited was established in 2014 by a team of engineers registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya. We are a Linux Professional Institute Approved Training Partner for the Africa region and are registered with the National Industrial Training Authority to deliver industrial training. Our team holds professional certification across Linux, DevOps, security, database and collaboration platforms.
